PCI’s Unique Investment Fees Aligned to Participants Results: 401kTV Feature

Last Updated: November 25, 2020

At Pension Consultants, Inc. (PCI), we offer clients an innovative fee structure aligned to results. Our unique approach received 401kTV’s GENIE Award for innovation in Investment Design, and was highlighted at their program in Chicago, Illinois.

PCI Principal, Chris Thixton, QPA, C(k)P®, met with the Publisher of 401kTV, Graham Thomas, during the awards. They discussed our unique process both for selecting the plan investment lineup and how we align our fee for investment management to the results the plan receives. “. . .our (PCI) full fee is only going to be realized when we achieve a certain result for the client,” Chris explains. “So specifically, when it comes to an investment, we look at an objective performance standard, an all-index lineup, and does the performance that we are providing for our clients, does it exceed that objective performance standard? And if it does, then we’ll earn our full fee. If not, then we won’t.”

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves! PCI has established our game-changing fee structure to bring results and transparency to our clients and, ultimately, to provide a rewarding retirement for their participants.
