Pension Consultants, Inc. (PCI) is honored to be named a 2025 PLANADVISER Top Retirement Plan Adviser. Each year, PLANADVISER, a leading industry publication, recognizes retirement plan advisers based on key quantitative measures, including assets under advisement (AUA) and the number of plans served.

This year’s PLANADVISER Top Retirement Plan Advisers list includes 249 standout firms that meet rigorous criteria, with advisers needing at least 50 plan clients or $400 million in retirement plan AUA to qualify.

Additional recognition is given to advisers with a high concentration of specific plan types, such as those serving 401(k), 403(b), 457, DB, and other specialized plans.

PCI’s CEO and Chairman, Brian Allen, CFP® shared his thoughts on the recognition:

“For more than 30 years, we’ve been all about transparency and accountability in 401(k) plans. We believe retirement plans should truly work—helping American workers get on track and stay on track for a successful retirement. This recognition reinforces that mission, and we’re truly honored.

Pension Consultants, Inc. is a nationally-ranked plan adviser dedicated to getting American workers on track for retirement. With over 30 years of experience, PCI is proud to be one of the nation’s largest and oldest independent retirement plan advisers, setting the standard for retirement plan management.

About PLANADVISER
PLANADVISER is a leading industry publication dedicated to serving retirement plan advisers, consultants, and other professionals who help employers manage their workplace retirement plans. Through in-depth reporting, research, and analysis, PLANADVISER provides insights on fiduciary best practices, industry trends, and regulatory updates. Each year, the publication recognizes advisers through its PLANADVISER Top Retirement Plan Advisers list, highlighting firms that stand out based on assets under advisement and number of plans served.

The 2025 PLANADVISER Top Retirement Plan Advisers recognition is based solely on self-reported quantitative data about an adviser’s practice. To be included in this year’s list, advisers had to have a minimum of 50 plan clients or retirement plan assets under advisement of $400 million or more, as of year-end 2024. After meeting the minimum plan or asset count, advisers are also highlighted if they meet the following criteria: 91% – 100% of clients that are 401(k) plan sponsors, or 10 or more 403(b), 457, nonqualified, DB, cash balance, SEP, SIMPLE or MEP/PEP plan clients. As this recognition is based solely on quantitative figures, there is no judging or subjective measurement, and it is not indicative of any adviser’s future performance. Neither advisory firms nor their employees pay a fee in exchange for this recognition. More information here: https://www.planadviser.com/awards/2025-top-retirement-plan-advisers/
